Membership of the EduHack Network is open to any institution interested in using EduHack materials and services now and/or in the future. The main purpose of the EduHack Network is to:
- maintain the EduHack learning experience including the online courseware, collaborative communities and toolbox
- promote the use of these materials amongst like-minded institutions
- support a community of users who wish to further exploit these materials and share their experiences
- extend the use of the materials and approach by making them available in other contexts and languages
Please note this is an informal network. Membership is aimed primarily at collaboration and does not imply either financial or legal obligations on the part of the member.

- Network members receive regular updates highlighting recent developments and are mentioned on the website and in any relevant press or other publicity campaigns.
- Network members can request support and advice on setting up their own learning experiences based on the EduHack approach.

EduHack Consortium Members
The Nexa Center for Internet & Society is a research and training center of the Department of Control and Computer Engineering at Politecnico di Torino. It has significant experience in open content, open data, open education, and ICT applied to societal issues. The Nexa Center arose from the activities of an informal interdisciplinary group – with expertise in technology, law, and economics – that was formed in Torino in 2003 and has conceived, designed, and implemented a number of initiatives: Creative Commons Italia, CyberLaw Torino, Harvard Internet Law Program Torino, SeLiLi, COMMUNIA, Neubot, and LAPSI.
Universidad Internacional de La Rioja – UNIR (Spain) is a 100% online university founded on a global vision of education directly linked to the market and the Society. UNIR facilitates an exclusive, innovative and high quality virtual model of higher education, which leans on a personalized, pro-active, and collaborative distance learning method of instruction. UNIR provides international courses, in English and Spanish, and comprises an academic community of over 1.000 highly knowledgeable lecturers across the world, along with a strong team of more than 500 multidisciplinary staff members (including 200 tutors), working on research projects and support services (i.e. tutoring, legal, publishing, editing, technical, administrative, etc.).

The Knowledge Innovation Centre (KIC) is a dynamic consultancy focusing on knowledge brokerage and innovation of knowledge transfer processes. The Centre brings together a variety of local and European experts from a variety of fields, and has worked extensively within Quality Assurance of Higher Education, Technology Enhanced Learning, Student Services and the knowledge economy (as it relates to the Lisbon Agenda and Barcelona Process). The Centre has forged close relationships with a number of stakeholders in the regional innovation and Higher Education fields, and is active in leveraging such relationships to build multi-disciplinary, multi-country networks for knowledge transfer and capitalization.
ATiT is an audio-visual and information technologies company based in Belgium since 1999 which specialises in the educational, cultural and training sectors and provides audio-visual production, project management, training and consultancy services to clients all over the world. ATiT’s mission is to provide a bridge between technology and learning and to help individuals and organisations apply technology-based solutions to make the most of digital and particularly media-based tools and services.

The ULPGC, established in 1989, has more than 25,000 students and 1,500 lecturers. The ULPGC is a leading university in e-learning. The Irish Universities Association is the representative body for the seven Irish Universities. The Enhancing Digital Teaching and Learning project is aimed at enhancing the digital attributes and educational experiences of Irish university students through enabling the mainstreamed and integrated use of digital technologies across the teaching and learning process. The project aims to mainstream digital in teaching and learning activities in Irish Universities, by addressing the professional development of all who teach or support teaching and learning.
The University of Genoa is one of the major cultural and scientific resources of the Mediterranean and north-western Italy and a reality in constant dialogue with the city and the economic framework. It is present throughout the regional territory with educational centres also in Savona, Imperia and La Spezia. The University of Genoa plays a leading role in the field of research, innovation and technology transfer, in a context of increased national and international competitiveness. It participates in national and international programs, identifying and selecting funding channels and encouraging relationships with local authorities and businesses organisations.
eCampus University was established as an Online University with Ministerial Decree of 30 January 2006. Its main offices are at the former IBM centre in Novedrate (CO), Italy, in a campus in the middle of Brianza’s peaceful greenery with 270 rooms, spaces and areas of interest available to students, professors and Italian and foreign visitors for the exams and activities that supplement the curriculum, such as intensive courses, seminars and conferences. As well as its large and efficient operating headquarters, eCampus University is present throughout the country: not only can the courses it offers be taken from anywhere at any time, but it also possesses an extensive network of tutors around Italy, who offer personal teaching support and advice to students.
At the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany, around 16.000 students are enrolled in a broad range of disciplines. The E-Didaktik is part of the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (Hochschuldidaktik). We develop concepts for the use of digital media with academic teachers who want to provide digital learning experiences to their students at the University, offer workshops, lunch meetings and individual support. The E-Didaktik also öffers a blog with information on a variety of usefool tools in teaching and learning.
KU Leuven explicitly focuses on future-oriented education and on the use of educational technology as a means of leveraging activating education. KU Leuven Learning Lab aims to highlight and bring together educational expertise (including continuing education and other lifelong learning initiatives) in faculties and units. A strong educational network helps Leuven Learning Lab define shared projects, which allows them to share and disseminate their output.
The Association HVC is a professional Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges on the national level. 47 members (94% of all Slovene HVC institutions) all providing EQF level 5 as private or public providers. They offer 31 programmes in 28 locations across Slovenia (120 ECTS). Our members do not only provide higher vocational education programmes, but also contribute to the field of applied research and professional studies as well as directly to the development of local communities and regions. Our specifics are the 40% of curricula that are provided as an in-company work-based learning and the teaching staff requirements demand up to date professional experience and knowledge from the field of work as well as pedagogical and andragogical competencies of our teaching staff. In doing so we ensure up to date theoretical training at the college and monitored and guided in company placements with certified and qualified mentors.
The Media & Learning Association has been set up to promote and stimulate the use of media as a way to enhance innovation and creativity in teaching and learning across all levels of education and training in Europe. Since it was launched in 2013, the association has grown and now has 26 members in 12 countries.
The University of Latvia (LU) is a state-run university located in Riga, Latvia, and it was established in 1919. The University of Latvia offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels of study and more than 14,000 students, including PhD and exchange students. The university consists of 13 faculties.
The Centro Educazione Media (CEM) is a non-profit organization, founded in 2007, and its members are professionals working in different educational sectors: psychologists, digital learning experts, teacher trainers and communication experts. Furthermore, CEM collaborates closely with the Department of Psychology of the University of Pavia in Italy. A group of digital education experts of CEM is working on the development of an education platform to support the teaching and learning process for children and teenagers who experience an extended stay in a hospital or are taught at home because they are unable to attend classes at school.

Associattion HVC is coordinating a project, ApprenticeTrack – Smart Electronic System for tracking Apprenticeships, creating a monitoring and measurement system for apprenticeships, a technological roadmap for apprenticeship management, a course on apprenticeship management and a prototype beta-tool which will help companies to easier understand learning competences under framework of business skills, give students a better understanding of their position and more opportunities for improvement, gather data on results and volume of apprenticeships, strengthen understanding and meaning of international mobility of placements, help with continuous improvement within PHE institutions, present apprenticeships as a meaningful learning experience, provide proof of learning outcomes, influence increased motivation for students, promote the benefits, support digital transformation in PHE institutions, improve connections with business chambers, and through them with companies, present learning outcomes at the core of apprenticeship experiences. In order to successfully test our prototype tool with a diverse group of stakeholders – from companies through PHE administrators to students – we would like to organise a full day hands-on event on the model of the EduHackathons.
Technology has become the key to a new world of education. Online learning/e-learning has become one of the most popular ways of gaining access to an education and UL is keen to improve its studies in this regard.
The training proposal of the Eduhack platform, especially the didactic paths of the sections Digital Resources, Teaching and Empowering Learners, meet the same educations goals that CEM wants to promote thanks to the Hospital School platform. The integration of the teacher training program of Eduhack into the CEM platform would offer to the Hospital School teachers in Italy the possibility to train themselves in a professional environment, which is continuously being updated and is academically acknowledged by experts of the digital teaching and learning sector.
